This course has been closely developed with an industry partner, KOJO who were integral to designing the course with topics and assessments that are relevant and timely for today’s social media and creative industries. Underpinning the practical elements of social media engagement and skills graduates need in social media, are the evidence-based research and exploration of the key issues required of a critical framework to be innovative professionals working in this space.
On completion of this course, students should be able to:
- Evaluate the prevalence of social media in advertising strategy across multiple industries
- Develop knowledge of social media user profiles by target audience and consumer behaviour factors
- Develop industry standard social media communication planning
- Further develop knowledge of brand reputation and management in a professional communication context
