The database activity allows you to collaborate with other students in your course to create a bank of information about a topic. You can view the contributions of other students and comment on their entries. A database can be used as a formative exercise to help you build understanding or as a summative activity that will be part of your course assessment. Your online course facilitator may also contribute to building the database.
