  • Qualitative analysis is a data analysis tool that is used to interpret qualitative data, or data that is predominantly words. This involves evaluating the text through different lenses, which often will become apparent once you start comparing your data.  

    The benefits of qualitative analysis are that it allows the reader to understand the text via the specific categories of analysis. 

    Example: After conducting several interviews, use content analysis to understand the common themes between each of the responses.
